After an exhaustive search we found our new line and it was right in front of us for the last 30 years. DMP Security Systems is designed, engineered, manufactured, and supported in Springfield, Ohio. Minnesota / North Dakota Fire Alarm Installation and Service

A few months ago we traveled to Spirit Lake North Dakota to rough in the installation of a Fire Alarm and Emergency Call System for the Spirit Lake Elderly Care Center near Devils Lake North Dakota. The project is owned by the Spirit Lake Tribe of North dakota and is a Housing project for the Elderly. We are working on the project for a local Electrical Contractor and large Commercial  Builder.

The project is going well and we are due to complete the project in teh first two weeks of January 2012.

Harding Place Fire Alarm Installation

Midwest Security & Fire, Inc. recently completed the installation of a new fire alarm system at Harding Place in Harding MN. The installation involved complete removal of the old fire alarm originally installed in the late 1960′s and installation of an Edwards Vigilant control panel, pull stations, smoke and heat sensors, and the Genesis line of horn/strobes from Edwards. The Fire alarm system  is also connected to the buildings sprinkler system to monitor the flow of water, tamper, and supervisory conditions including the fire pump operations.

Harding Place is an older facility and the installation presented many challenges which were overcome by the experience and knowledge of our staff. This new system with provide for the saftey and protection of the residents and staff for many years to come.

We would like to thank the Residents and Staff for thier patience and cooperation during the installation. We would also like to thank the staff at Horizon Health  for the great work they do for the Seniors, Developmentaly Disabled, and Veterans throughout our communities.

Midwest Security & Fire recently started the Fire Alarm replacement project at Harding Place. Harding Place is a country like home care facility designed for those who need 24 hour personalized care and is located in Harding Minnesota.

The Facility is the location of the former Harding School and the fire alarm system was older with limited coverage. Midwest Security & Fire worked with Horizon Health to plan replacement of the Fire Alarm system to provide the residents and staff with life safety. 

The new system will utilize the Edwards Vigilant Control Panel, new addressable devices and the Genesis Horn/Stobe notification. Midwest Security & Fire has recently completed the Prairie Hill Senior Living project in St. Peter MN. The facility is a combination senior housing community with apartments, assisted living, and memory care units for elderly residents.

Midwest Security & Fire was contracted to provide the installation of the Fire Alarm System, Access Control System, Apartment Entry and Security System, and the Area Of Rescue Assistance system. In addition, Midwest provided the terminations, testing and certictaion of the telephone, data, and emergency call systems throughout the facility.

The facility owned by Ecumen, has passed the required inspections and has now recieved permit for occupancy.

Midwest installed the Edwards Vigilant Fire Alarm System througout the facility for fire protection and building control. The facilties Access Control features a Schlage Bright Blue system with keypad reader combination at entrances and secure doors with delayed egress features for the memory care section of the building.
